Your leadership team is the most important team in the company and the least likely to act like one.

I help CEOs and leadership teams stop the Monday Morning Head Nod - where everyone agrees in the meeting, then scatters to fix problems from their silo - and start actually working together as ONE team. So you can make decisions in days not weeks, solve the RIGHT problems, and own the category instead of chasing it.

I work with:

Leadership teams: 6-8 executives in tech who are brilliant individually but struggle to collaborate as ONE team.

Individual leaders: Executives navigating pivotal transitions who want to get clear on what they want and go after it with courage.

Work with me

  • Leadership Team Coaching

    LEADERSHIP TEAM COACHING

Turn brilliant individual leaders into high-performing leadership teams.

I help leadership teams of 6-8 who are stuck in the Monday Morning Head Nod - where everyone agrees in the meeting, then scatters to fix problems from their silo. Until the next crisis. And the next one. And the next one.

    What your team will achieve:

SPEED: Make decisions in days not weeks so you get to market faster and learn before your competitors do - so you own the category instead of chasing it. Teams increase problem-solving ability by 65% and learn ahead of competitors.

COLLABORATION: Solve the RIGHT problem as one team - not waste time, energy, and money on six siloed solutions that don't add up. Collaborative behavior increases by 265%, transforming territorial defenders into integrated problem-solvers.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Turn commitments into results that don't fall through the cracks - so when work gets done, everyone knows and it builds momentum that actually moves the company forward. Engagement increases 45%.

TRUST: Create honest debate that leads to real breakthroughs - not fake consensus that falls apart in the parking lot or over Slack. Trust and mutual respect grow by 120%, turning disagreement into productive decisions.

INNOVATION: Know when to ship bold imperfect solutions so you capture market share while competitors are still polishing. Creative thinking skills grow by 40% and innovation success rate increases by 60%, moving from perfection paralysis to rapid iteration.

    What makes this different:

I use LISA® (Leadership and Innovation Skills Assessment) - activity-based, scientifically validated, 98% confidence level. I measure 15 human skills. The two foundational skills - collaboration and tolerance for uncertainty - unlock everything else. Then creative thinking, behavioral empathy, and resilience amplify what becomes possible. But here's what nobody else measures: whether your team works better TOGETHER or APART. That comparison shows you objectively what you've been feeling intuitively.

  • 1:1 Executive Coaching

    1:1 EXECUTIVE COACHING

Get clear on what you want and go after it with courage.

I help leaders navigating pivotal transitions—stepping into bigger roles, facing reorgs or uncertainty, or defining what's next—redefine what success means to them in business and life, on their own terms.

    What you'll achieve:

    Career advancement
(promotions, new roles, positioned for next level)

Work that feels deeply connected to your values and impact

    Authentic leadership presence
(showing up as who you really are)

Tools to manage overthinking and self-doubt

Confidence to speak up and take bold action

Better integration between work and life

    What makes this different:
Transformation is part of my identity—I've reinvented myself multiple times: engineer to marketer, perfectionist to growth-minded leader, corporate executive to entrepreneur. I bring more than 30 years of leadership experience and know what it takes to navigate uncertainty and step into something new.

Often, I work with individual leaders AND their teams - coaching executives who want to be better leaders while helping their leadership team build the collaboration skills to actually work as ONE team. Because your own growth and your team's performance aren't separate. They're inseparable.

  • Speaking Engagements

    SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

    Inspire. Engage. Spark Action.

I deliver experiential keynotes and workshops that help leaders and teams build the human skills AI can't replicate. Through story and practice, audiences learn to get clear on what matters most, act with courage, and collaborate in ways that drive breakthrough results.

    Topics include:

Building the skills AI can't replicate (collaboration, creativity, resilience)

Turning high-performing individuals into high-performing teams

    Leading through uncertainty and change

The science behind arts-based learning for innovation

The pattern I see everywhere

You're the CEO. You've built a strong executive team - VPs who run multi-million dollar P&Ls, brilliant functional leaders who know their domains cold.

But something's not working. Growth is stalling. Innovation feels stuck. Strategic initiatives keep dying. You keep thinking: "We have all this talent. Why aren't we moving faster?"

Here's what Monday morning looks like:

Six executives in a conference room. You put a big problem on the table -- sales are down, a competitive threat, a product delay, a customer crisis. Everyone nods. Everyone takes notes. Each person secretly praying: "Please don't let it be my problem."

Meeting ends. You think you have alignment.

But what you actually have is six brilliant people scattering back to their silos. Marketing tackles their piece. Sales tackles theirs. Product, engineering, operations - everyone working their part of what should be ONE company problem.

Weeks later, the problem is... addressed. Each function did their part. Crisis averted. Until the next one. And the next one. And the next one.

What’s really happening

I know because I lived it. As a marketing executive at IBM, I sat in those meetings, calculating what part of my million dollar budget was going to be hijacked by the latest urgent priority. I watched brilliant leaders - myself included - nod in agreement, then scatter back to solve problems through our functional lens.

Your team was never asked to collaborate as a leadership team. They were rewarded their whole careers for individual excellence. They know how to run their functions brilliantly. But working together as ONE team to solve company problems? Nobody ever taught them that. Nobody ever focused them on it - because the organization wasn't designed for it.

It's not an innovation problem. It's a collaboration skills problem.

Skills can be improved.

And here's why it's urgent: Everyone has AI now. Your competitors have the same tools you do. The differentiator isn't technology anymore - it's whether your leadership team has the human skills AI can't replicate: collaboration, tolerance for uncertainty, creative thinking, behavioral empathy, and resilience.

How we fix it

First, I measure - twice.

I assess each leader individually using real-world scenarios. Then I facilitate the same methodology with the whole team working together. The tool I use is called LISA® (Leadership and Innovation Skills Assessment) - activity-based, scientifically validated, 98% confidence level. I measure 15 human skills. The two foundational skills - collaboration and tolerance for uncertainty - unlock everything else. Then creative thinking, behavioral empathy, and resilience amplify what becomes possible.

Now here's the magic: I compare the two.

Do they perform better when working individually? Or together as a team? Where are the biggest gaps? Is it how they collaborate? How they handle uncertainty together? How they innovate?

This is what no other assessment does - measure whether your team actually works better TOGETHER or APART. That comparison shows you objectively what you've been feeling intuitively. And it pinpoints exactly where to focus.

Then we pick ONE thing together. Not everything. One area the whole team agrees is broken. Maybe it's how decisions get made. Maybe it's how the Monday morning meeting actually works. Maybe it's how they build trust or handle uncertainty together.

We fix that one thing - together. Individual coaching for each leader to close their skill gaps. And team interventions using different modalities - always applied directly to your real work challenges - so these skills actually stick.

Your team sees measurable results. That creates the trust and momentum needed for bigger transformations.

Then we tackle the bigger transformations - because they've experienced that this isn't theory. It's real. It's measurable. And change is possible.

What you’ll receive:

  • Individual assessment reports and debriefs for each leader

  • Team Engagement Lab and debrief

  • Team Action Plan with clear priorities

  • Individual coaching sessions for each leader

  • Team interventions tailored to your specific gaps

  • Before and after metrics to measure results

The business impact*

  • Problem-solving ability increases 65%

  • Collaborative behavior increases 265%

  • Engagement increases 45%

  • Trust grows 120%

  • Creative thinking skills grow 40%

  • Innovation success rate increases 60%

Your team can go from assessment to roadmap in 3-4 weeks.

  • Working with Amy helped me find the roadblocks that were holding back my growth through our discussions about inspirational leadership, executive presence, and development. She helped me realize what I could do to overcome these roadblocks that I, more often than not, put in front of myself.

    L.D. - Director of Compensation

Working with Amy has been incredibly valuable time spent and very eye-opening. Through coaching, we worked together to make me stronger. I came into our relationship thinking I had hyper self-awareness and that it was a barrier and now I see that I always had the answers through my awareness, I only needed to bring it to the surface and be given some tools, analogies and visualizations to have in my back pocket. Coaching is hard work, make no mistake, but it is worth it!

    N.T. - Director

  • This experience really gave me the push to find within myself the self confidence to really launch and put my all into my business. To accept that help does not mean weakness, or that you are a burden. And finally, that I am fully capable of accomplishing my goals.

    J.D. - Baker

I loved her energy — uplifting, supportive, and deeply grounding. She pushed me to look at situations from new perspectives and helped me reconnect with clarity and motivation around my career. Amy was always organized, prepared, and kept us focused.

I left each session feeling lighter, more confident, and more aligned with the direction I want to take next.

    A.Z. - Sales Leader

  • As I launch my new business, I want to acknowledge Amy Swotinsky’s role in helping me on my journey.

I’ve seen Amy’s enthusiasm for life first hand for years. Every update I got about Amy or from Amy, she was traveling somewhere, trying something novel or helping someone.

Amy is a gift to the world as she shares her energy, time and knowledge with so many. Sometimes I get a laugh as I see the shenangians that she is up to, but mostly I’m in awe of her willingness to SAY YES! Amy succeeded at the highest levels in corporate America before launching her coaching business.

She inspired me to move on from my corporate role and also embark on an entrepreneurial path. When Amy coached me, she asked ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS to help me discover what I wanted to do and how I wanted to spend my time.

She encouraged me and challenged me when I needed it. Throughout the coaching process, Amy made it fun as well. I think if you’re going to be coached by someone, it helps to be inspired by them as well.

May others realize their dreams with Amy’s coaching too!

    Thank you Amy!

A little bit about me!

From perfectionist executive to growth-minded creative catalyst.

I've been a leader almost my whole life - engineering manager, product leader, to marketing executive. I worked my way from fast-moving unicorns to the most respected tech companies, running million dollar budgets and influencing billion dollar decisions. I worked hard, drove results, held myself to impossible standards.

Then Agile hit. And I was a perfectionist. I was over-preparing, overthinking, edging toward burnout. I was stuck at a crossroads.

Working with a coach taught me what I wish I'd learned earlier - the growth mindset. That unlocked everything and enabled me to get to the highest level.

Then I read a book about AI that said creativity would be the most in-demand skill. I'd been led to believe I wasn't creative - by myself and by society. So I got curious and took a drawing class.

And discovered: creativity was already inside of me. It's not a gift some people have. It's a skill. And it's the fuel for confidence, resilience, innovation, and leadership.

Now I'm a former executive who knows what those rooms feel like. I've since learned the measurable method I wish I'd had back then. Today, as a Certified Innovation Coach with advanced certification in the LISA® methodology, I help leadership teams develop the foundational skills they've never been required to master as one team - collaboration and tolerance for uncertainty, plus creative thinking, behavioral empathy, and resilience.

I help teams because I lived it. And I know we can do better.

Here's who I want to work with:

Leaders who are ready to lean into growth. Who have a growth mindset - or are willing to build one.

Let's talk.

Ready to move forward?

Whether you're a leader navigating a pivotal transition or leading a team under pressure to deliver results, let's talk about how I can help you get clear, act with courage, and achieve breakthrough results.
